Version Details
Component | Version | Type | Release Date |

FoCal – Windows & Mac | 2.11.2.6860 | Stable | 10th Feb 2020 |
Headline Features
- Fixes for 1D X and 1Ds Mark III cameras
- Basic integration with FoCal IQ website.
- Camera and Lens Database Updates
- Testing against latest Canon firmware updates on lots of cameras.
- Significant rework of Mac based camera communications to improve reliability and fix issues with older operating systems (OS X El Capitan (10.11) onwards).
- Correct handling of privacy permissions on macOS Catalina, including detection of permissions, better requests for access and better help and support to fix permission related issues.
- Fixes for Nikon Z50 support (note that this is still BETA support)
- Lots of internal improvements
Known Limitations
- FoCal will now no longer support versions of Mac OS X prior to El Capitan (10.11). The official position for the last year has been that FoCal requires El Capitan or later to work, but although we do not test on earlier versions it may have still worked. As of this update, due to the use of newer operating system functions you will no longer be able to run FoCal on versions of OS X prior to El Capitan.
- There is no Raw support for Canon EOS 90D or EOS R at present. We have this working in internal development builds and it will be available in the next release of FoCal.
